Blue Ridge Scout Reservation Activities

Jun 15, 2016

bsr-logoTroop 614 will be going to Blue Ridge Scout Reservation in Virginia for our 2017 summer camp. This will be a very unique experience for many of our scouts who have never been to a BSA camp.

Older scouts will have the opportunity to take part in Blue Ridge’s provisional programs: Voyager Trek, Claytor Lake Aquatics Base, High Knoll Trail, New River Adventure, Mountain Man, or Fish Camp.

Younger scouts (or older scouts who do not want to go on a provisional program) will stay in base camp and take part in the Brownsea Island Adventure program or take a traditional merit badge approach.

Below is a guide to everything Blue Ridge Scout Reservation has to offer. Please take note that all of the prices are for the 2016 season and could change next year.

All scouts taking part in one of the provisional programs must make their choice by Tuesday, June 21st. This will allow the troop to place a deposit for next year’s camp.

If you have any questions about any of the programs, please contact Mr. Barton.
